GANGTOK
Enjoy a sightseeing tour of Gangtok (Private). Today post breakfast, proceed on a full day sightseeing tour of Gangtok. Visit Rumtek, which is built by Rangjung Dorje the 16th Karampa Lama in 1959. The monastery functioned as his home in exile. The flowing streams of water, Snow capped mountains, the proximity of the river and the silence of the valley give the monastery a tranquil and peaceful environment. Later, proceed to Do Drul Chorten, a Buddhist Stupa situated in Gangtok. Built by the revered Trulshik Rinpoche, of the Nyingma order of the Tibetan Buddhism. The chorten, is a Buddhist shrine, encircled by 108 prayer wheels. Thereafter, visit the Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, which was established in 1958 and has been promoting the study of Tibet and its culture since then. The institute promotes the rich and varied culture of Tibet, that includes the religion, history, language, art, and culture. Also, explore the Directorate of Handicraft and Handloom, which was established as a technical institute for training and production of traditional arts and crafts with the intention to tap the employment and income generating potential of the handloom and handicrafts sector. It is also the only place in the state that helps in the preservation and propagation of languishing ethnic crafts of Rhenock, Rongli, Parakha, Pacheykhani, Padamchey, Kokolay, Tumin and Ralong. Later, proceed to visit the Flower Exhibition Centre which has an astounding collection of rare flowers. It conducts annual competitions and exhibitions of exotic plants and flowers. There are many rare flowers on display here, some that bloom once a year, and some that bloom just once in their lifetime! GANGTOK - KALIMPONG
Today, after breakfast drive to Kalimpong, an ideal getaway to the hill station which has a clement weather. The beautiful flower gardens, divine worship places and of course the climate gives a sense of cheerfulness to the visitors. On arrival, check in to the hotel. Later in the afternoon, proceed for a sightseeing tour of Kalimpong. Visit the Zang Dhok Palri Phodang Monastery also known as 'Durpin Monastery' which was constructed by Dalai Lama on top of Durpin Dara hill. The monastery has a three dimensional appearance with majestic architecture and beautiful paintings. It has a special relevance as it houses the rare Kangyur text in 108 volumes. Continue to Tharpa Choling Monastery, one of the oldest and most revered monasteries in Kalimpong known for its religious ambience and precious artefacts. Also, visit the Thongsa Gompa, popularly called Bhutanese Monastery, the oldest monastery in Kalimpong. The monastery consists of a prayer room that has 108 prayer wheels, which were personally brought by the Dalai Lama. In addition, the monastery also has several murals and frescos. Tourists get to witness Buddhist monks and devotees offering prayers. Lastly, explore the Flower Nurseries which are in abundance in Kalimpong, as the place is famous for cultivation of horticultural plants. These flower nurseries are engaged in exporting beautiful and exotic flowers. Post sightseeing, return to your hotel. Night Stay

PHUENTSHOLING - THIMPHU
Transfer from hotel in Phuentsholing to hotel in Thimphu, enroute visit Kharbandi Gompa(Private). After a lesiurely breakfast, post your immigration formalities proceed to Thimphu, the capital city of Bhutan. We stop to visit the Kharbandi Gompa built in 1967 by the Royal Grandmother, Ashi Phuntsho Choedron. The gompa has many paintings portraying scenes from life of Buddha and a breathtaking view of Phuentsholing and the surrounding Indian plains. On arrival in Thimphu, check in to the hotel. Night Stay

THIMPHU
Explore Thimphu on a city tour (Private). We start with National Memorial Chorten which is continuously circumambulated by the faithful, murmuring mantras and spinning of the prayer wheels, is predominantly white with spires of gold. For many Bhutanese it is the focus of their daily worship. Buddha Dordenma statueis a gigantic golden Buddha statue measuring 51.5 m in height, sitting atop a gilded meditation hall and is one of the largest in the world. Motithang Takin Preserve is a preserve center for Takin - the national animal of Bhutan. Then, visit the National Library of Bhutanwas established in 1967 to preserve ancient Dzongkha and Tibetan texts. The library consists of all kind of ancient books of Buddhist culture. Folk Heritage Museum is one of the oldest traditional houses and has been around for more than 150 years old. The museum provides you a glimpse of the Bhutanese lifestyle and artifacts from the rural households. Lastly, visit the Tashichho Dzong, a beautiful medieval fortress / monastery which houses offices of the King, the Throne room and the central monastic body and some government ministries. After breakfast, drive to the valleys of Punakha, en route visit the Dochula Pass which is a mountain pass in the snow covered Himalayas. The pass on a clear day offers a magnificent view of the snowcapped mountains of the Himalayas. Also, visit the Chimi Lhakhang, also known as the 'Fertility Temple', is a Buddist monastery. Visit Taktsang Monastery (Private). Taktsang Lhakhang also known as the Tiger's Nest is the most famous Buddhist pilgrimage site and temple complex in Bhutan. Visible from afar, this stunning and highly revered monastery is perched on a high granite cliff at an altitude of 10,236 ft, overlooking the northern Paro valley. For the people who won't be able to visit the Tiger's Nest we have an alternative, visiting places that includes Kyichu Lhakang, Drukgyel Dzong and National Museum. Kyichu Lhakhang was built sometimes in mid 7th century by the Tibetan king Songtsen Gampo. It is believed to be one of the 108 temples built to subdue a demoness residing in the Himalayas. It is one of the oldest and beautiful temples in Bhutan. Drukgyal Dzong was one of the four principal Dra Dzongs (defense fortress).The Dzong is now in ruins and it is said to have been caused by the fire when a butter lamp fell in the central tower. Only the ruins of giant walls, charred gigantic wooden posts, beams and watch towers can be seen of what was once an important fortress that repelled several invasions from the north. National Museum is housed in the Ta Dzong (watchtower) and is a cultural museum.
