Discover the spectacular Underwater Waterfall and other landmarks in the south-western part of the island with an amazing helicopter sightseeing tour. The beautiful Underwater Waterfall, an optical illusion, is located in the South-West of Mauritius near the shores of Le Morne Brabant. The illusion is the result from the movement of sand and silt sediments under the influence of powerful underwater currents. The helicopter crew will greet you upon arrival to the airport / helipad of your choice and once ready, you will board on one of the Bell Jet Ranger helicopters, equipped with 4 passenger seats. Enjoy aerial views of the coastline, fantastic silhouettes of Le Morne Brabant Mountain and the unbelievable Underwater Waterfall. A spectacular gamut of greens, blues, and whites, create a deceiving impression of a sudden drop like a raging waterfall.

It was one of the greatest structures in the ancient world, its scale only matched by the pyramids of Giza. The Sri Maha Bodhi is a sacred bodhi tree and is central to Anuradhapura in both a spiritual and physical sense. It was grown from a cutting brought from Bodhgaya in India and is said to be the oldest historically authenticated tree in the world. Marvel at the stunning structure as you witness thousands of devotees come to make offerings, particularly on poya (full moon) days and weekends.

This art is popularly seen in areas such as Ahangama, Koggala, Welipenna, Kathaluwa and Thalarambe. From a list of 'things to do' in Sri Lanka, travelers often include stilt fishing as an excellent opportunity to test their skills. A narrow pole is tied to a stick that is anchored on the sea bed. Fisher folk climb onto this stick and settle on the pole for a few hours in an effort to catch some fish.
